West hallam then gained possession with James defending well. A shot at goal was saved by JJ. Mikey proved to be quite a contender for West hallam, having numerous shots at the goal.

West Hallam finally won possession but were stopped in their path by great defending from Ryan, gaining possession for Mickleover. This led to another shot on target by Cameron which was saved. Again possession was won by West Hallam but was short lived thanks to a good header by Josh. A foul was committed when a West Hallam player tugged on James shirt, leading to a free kick. A short spell of West Hallam possessing the ball lead to Josh performing a great tackle, gaining Mickleover a throw in. Adam took the ball and attacked the opposition but unfortunately lost possession after a tackle by the West Hallam defence. This lead to great defending by Josh and Ryan again. Further attacks at both end of the pitch ended the first half.

The second half began with West Hallam gaining possession of the ball and having a shot at goal. JJ again proved to be a valuable asset to the club by performing another great save. West Hallam again gained possession after a great goal kick. James tackled but West Hallam kept possession which led to the first goal of the match.

Following the kick off Mickleover lost possession and again James and the rest of the defence had to act quickly to prevent another goal being scored. Jack won possession after a good tackle and had a shot at goal, unfortunately slightly off target. Another opportunity was created and Cameron had another shot at goal but missed, getting closer all the time.

With three in the box Mickleover had an opportunity to score but were stopped in their tracks when West Hallam headed the ball out of play. A substitution was made when Jack was injured after a tackle by a West Hallam player. Lewis was bought on to cover him whilst Jack sought medical treatment for an injured ankle.

JJ had another great save, kicking the ball up the pitch to Mikey and Cameron. The good team work done by these two players led to Mikey scoring his first goal of the season.

With spirits now raised further shots at goal were made but to no avail. West Hallam gained possession after a goal kick by JJ. They immediately attacked shooting at goal. JJ defended the goal well but unfortunately the ball bounced off his arm leading to a goal by West Hallam. Following a goal kick Mikey gained a throw in which went across the goal mouth, opening an opportunity to score as Ryan gained possession only to be tackled by West Hallam and losing the ball. West Hallam then made an attack passing through Mickleover defence and scoring.

Mickleover were fighting back as the final whistle went. Mickleover Jubilee had most of the possession throughout the first half and deserved to win. James Jefferies won Man of the match after performing great saves, motivating the team further.
